Announcement of the 2024-25 CMFC Scholarship Program!

This program aims to identify and reward scholar-athletes junior ski racers in the Crystal Mountain Alpine Club (CMAC). The Crystal Mountain Founders Club is able to award $5,000 this year.  

Applications will be evaluated based on financial need, athletic performance, academic achievement, and community involvement. Applications will be judged, and winners will be announced by late July 2025, just before the Annual Founder's Party (August 17). All winners and their parents will be invited to attend as Guests of the Founder's Club.

This Crystal Mountain Founders Club has dedicated $3,500 to the Scholarship program. There will be three scholarships awarded as follows, and they will be made payable directly to CMAC to defray each recipient's training program tuition.

GOLD SCHOLARSHIP - $1750

SILVER SCHOLARSHIP - $1000

BRONZE SCHOLARSHIP - $750

MAUREEN HAMMOND AWARD - $1500

The Maureen Hammond award will be awarded to the athlete who exemplifies the spirt of Maureen. Maureen was a dedicated volunteer and member of the Crystal Mountain community. She spent many hours volunteering her time as a trustee and volunteer member for the CMFC, CMAC, and The PNW Ski Division. This award will go to the athlete who has financial need, demonstrated efforts to give back to their community, and shows strong leadership on and off the hill.
